1989
Creation of TOLCOLOR resulting
from a partnership between ROBERT et Cie and the Austrian forge VOEST ALPINE.

1992

Enlargement of the workshop area, TOLCOLOR now occupies 3000 M² then investment in a slitting line in order to be able to meet growing market demand

1998

ROBERT et Cie bought back the shares of VOEST ALPINE and a new team was set up to revitalize the activity. ROBERT's sales teams begin to market TOLCOLOR products

1990

Installation of the company in LE THILLAY in 1500 M² then investment of a cutting line for sheared blanks and unrolled sheets in width 1500 mm, length 6 meters and able to work thicknesses ranging from

0.40 to 2.00

1992 - 1998

Tolcolor is gradually developing its activity in the blanking, decoiling and slitting of prepainted steels mainly from VOEST ALPINE. It represents this forge for the sale of coils in France.

1999

TOLCOLOR is investing in a new slitting line whose capacities make it more able to adapt to market needs.

1992 - 2004

The activity goes from a monthly average of 500 tonnes per month to 1200 tonnes.

2008

Faced with the global crisis, the group optimizes its industrial facilities and TOLCOLOR settles in the premises of ROBERT.

2006

TOLCOLOR invests in a new unwinding line which is installed in the new buildings of ROBERT et Cie.

2009

TOLCOLOR is investing in a new slitting line with increased capacity to meet growing market needs.

2011

Under the impetus of a new customer, TOLCOLOR is developing its activity on non-lacquered products such as electrogalvanized and galvanized steel

2011 to 2020

The activity recorded a significant growth to reach nearly 2,500 tonnes of products processed per month at the LE THILLAY site.
